They found a plane for us. That is a good thing because we leave in 25 minutes. As many of you know Miami is hosting the Pro Bowl this week and the Super Bowl next week so there is lots of hype going on here. But people ate still interested in what we are doing which is really cool. We met a lady from port au prince and she is going home for the first time since the earthquake. She talked about what she expects when she goes back but she just does not know.
On the flight from Detroit they talked about our group which was great. And wished us luck. I told the person next to me that I just want to help anyway possible.

Night before
The night before I leave for Haiti. I find myself very excited and yet at the same time I am nervous. I have no idea what do expect and what I will see. But again, I know this is what I suppose to do.

Going to Haiti
On January 31st, fourteen people from Jackson, MI area are leaving to go to Haiti. What a great opportunity this is going to be. I am very excited to go and know that I will experience things that I have never before. It will be life changing but we all need a "wake up" call to the real life.
